With holy week for gadget geeks upon us (Apple's latest entry arrives in stores on Saturday), it's time to find out if the new buzz-bomb is more iFad than iPad. Macworld hearts iPad so don't expect much criticism. Macworld spends much of the magazine's April issue heaping praise on Apple's latest device, and being altogether too dismissive of the iPad's numerous shortcomings. For example, the device's rather clunky touch-screen typing interface simply gets a, "It takes time to adapt." Forgive us, but shouldn't being able to easily type on this thing be a top priority? Elsewhere, the magazine says the lovefest surrounding Twitter might be dying down. According to a study of Twitter users by RJMetrics, the service reached its peak in September.
