Get ready to read more about the phone hacking scandal that has rocked British government and Rupert Murdoch's media empire. Some of those involved, including Guardian journalist Nick Davies, whose reporting helped uncover details of the scandal, are rushing to get books into print.

The book by Davies is titled "Hack Attack: How the Truth Caught up with the World's Most Powerful Man" and is to published in the fall of 2012 by Chatto & Windus in Britain and Faber & Faber in the U.S. Financial compensation wasn't disclosed. Davies, who previously wrote "Flat Earth News," won't be the first out with a book. Labour MP Tom Watson has a deal with Penguin Press for a book to be published before the end of this year. It is being co-written with journalist Martin Hickman.

The scandal exploded earlier this month with revelations that journalists at the News of the World tabloid hacked the phone of a 13-year-old murder victim while police were still searching for her.
