American Business Media has announced that Heavy Duty Trucking editors are finalists in three categories in its 57th annual Jesse H. Neal National Business Journalism Awards. The Neals are widely regarded as the "Pulitzer Prize" of the B2B media.

The finalists are:

* Best Technical Content: "The Future of Fuel Economy," June 2010, by Equipment Editor Jim Park, Senior Editor Tom Berg and Washington Editor Oliver Patton.

* Best Website: Truckinginfo.com; the entire staff is honored for this award.

* Best Range of Work by a Single Author: Equipment Editor Jim Park, for a range of features, commentary and multimedia pieces in Heavy Duty Trucking and Truckinginfo.com.

The Neal Awards were established in 1955 to recognize and reward editorial excellence in business media publications. Past Neal winners and finalists have tackled controversial topics including corruption, kickbacks and political conflicts of interest. The winners will be announced in March.
